Scott Friedman

PRESIDENT 

Scott Friedman is the CEO and President of GT Landscape Solutions.  Scott has over 25 years in the landscape industry all with GT Landscape Solutions.  The company was founded his junior year in college while attending Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with minors in Chemistry and Biology.  Scott has 2 grown sons named Clayton and James.  He also shares his life with his partner, Steasia and his stepson, Mason. When Scott is not working he is an avid golfer…golf addict, actually.  He also enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, lifting weights and a dirty gin martini.  One little known thing about Scott is that he hates all things pickled!

Pat Martin

VP of OPERATIONS

Pat Martin is the Vice President of Operations for GT Landscape Solutions, where he oversees the maintenance department. Pat has been with GTLS since 2016 and has demonstrated his expertise in the landscaping industry consistently. Before joining GTLS, he worked as a certified marine technician and automotive technician. When he’s not busy at work, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife and kids by camping, riding at the dunes, and snowmobiling. Interestingly, his first job was with the City Parks Department at the youth park corporation, which may have ignited his passion for landscaping and the outdoors.

Jackie Combs

CONTROLLER

Jackie Combs has been an integral part of GT Landscape Solutions since 2016 and manages the accounting department. With a decade of experience in a large multi-state, semi-tractor and trailer washing company, she worked her way up from being a Payroll Accounting Clerk to Finance Manager/ Accounting office Manager. At GTSL, Jackie holds the title of Controller where she oversees all accounts receivable invoicing, accounts payable invoicing, and payroll processing. She also keeps the bank accounts in order and manages payroll tax reporting. Besides accounting she keeps everything organized for the team. Jackie has always enjoyed accounting work, and it comes naturally to her. Her family is growing, and she is a proud grandmother to an adorable grandson. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing crafts, photography, reading, and singing karaoke. Growing up, she was always active and adventurous, riding motorcycles, three-wheelers, horseback riding, and playing in the dirt and trees.

Libby Manning

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
2022 Circle of Excellence

Libby Manning is the Senior Account Manager for GT Landscape Solutions.  She earned a Bachelor of Science with honors from Middle Tennessee State University.  She has an impressive work history including sales and customer service in various industries.  Most notable, however, is that she owned and operated a residential lawn and landscape company in Nashville, Tennessee for 5 and a half years.  The company earned the recognition of “Best of Landscape Services 2017” in The Nashville Scene Magazine and “Reader’s Favorites 2018” in Greater Nashville House and Home Magazine.  Libby’s experience has allowed her to flourish quickly and expand her role with GTLS. She moved to Oregon in 2021 with her best friend, Jet, a black lab mix. True to her past and present, she enjoys mowing grass and creating beautiful landscapes. She is also extremely handy indoors and has renovated houses.

Scott Fowlie

COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

Mr. Fowlie is an experienced Commercial Estimator with a specialization in construction estimating for both commercial and residential projects. He spent eight years as a commercial estimator for the largest landscape/irrigation company in Texas before relocating to Oregon. Mr. Fowlie is a proud family man and enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Michelle Fowlie, and their two little girls, Alexandria and Arlee. In his free time, he enjoys doing crafts, drawing, coloring, and playing games with his family. He grew up in the middle of nowhere in British Columbia, Canada, where it was an 8-hour drive to any major city with more than 100,000 people. After meeting his wife, he moved to a city of 7 million, which was a drastic change from his humble beginnings.

Cody Frost

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Cody Frost is a Business Development Representative who studied Business & Marketing at Portland State University, becoming the first-generation college student in his family. He grew up with two older sisters and developed an interest in watching sports, snowboarding, going wine tasting, and spending time with his girlfriend and two cats, Pancake and Cleo. Cody is an enthusiastic individual who is always seeking new experiences and enjoys spending his free time exploring his hobbies.

Marybeth Cardenas

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Marybeth Cardenas is an Account Manager with GTLS. Prior to joining the GTLS team Marybeth worked in the health insurance industry for 18 years. She has been happily married for 20 years and is a proud mother of two boys. When she is not working, Marybeth loves spending time with her family and enjoys watching her boys play sports, boating, camping, and riding at the dunes. She also enjoys hosting get-togethers and cooking delicious meals. Despite her love for pickles, Marybeth is terrified of snakes and despises glitter.

Gerardo Bastita

LEAD FOREMAN

Gerardo’s role in the company is to provide leadership to the maintenance division. He interviews people wishing to work for GT and is also in charge of training recruits. He manages and inspects all of the maintenance routes and inspects all of the maintenance routes, ensuring all properties are in good condition. He was previously employed for Sony where they built Televisions, Stereos and Speakers. He then started working with GT in 2015. He has a large family of siblings that get together weekly to plan and cook meals for everyone. His hobbies include camping, boating at the lake, riding quads on the dunes, and BBQing in the woods with his friends. Most people don’t know that he has a twin brother!

Aaron Gonzales

ACCOUNT MANAGER MUNICIPAL

Aaron is one of the Account Managers for GT Landscape Solutions. He has been in the landscape industry since 2001. He has lots of experience in landscape irrigation design and repairs, as well as landscape maintenance and installation. He has had a backflow tester license since 2010. Aaron also received an applicator license in 2022. His favorite part of his job is operating landscape equipment such as riding mowers, excavators, front loaders, trenchers and larger trucks. He is a father of 4 beautiful children and has been married for over 20 years. Aaron really enjoys spending time with his family and close friends. He loves to teach anyone that is interested in learning about this field of work. If you need help or a friend, he his the guy to see!

Moises Alejandre

CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT MANAGER

Moises Alejandre is GTLS’s Construction Division Manager and has been with the company since 2008. Originally from California, he moved to pursue his career in Construction Management. Moises is a family man and takes pride in being a husband and father to three children – two girls, and a boy. In his free time, he enjoys playing pool and honing his skills in the game. Prior to his career in construction, Moises worked as a cook and caterer for 9 years.

Brittney Boone

BUSINESS DEVELOPER

Brittney Boone is a skilled business developer with GT Landscape Solutions as their representative for new landscape construction projects.  With a sharp entrepreneurial mindset, she has also worked as a real estate agent and personal branding/product photographer. Brittney is a devoted mother of four, with three beautiful daughters and one extra handsome little boy. In her free time, she enjoys hitting the gym, boating, traveling, and listening to music and comedy. She’s also an avid learner and enjoys educating herself on philosophy, psychology, and investing.

Ben Lopez

LEAD IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN

Ben Lopez hails from Montana, where he grew up with his large family of 12 siblings and 2 parents. In his free time, Ben enjoys exploring his creative side through mixology, art, and video games. What most people don’t know about Ben is that he also runs a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with his friends, showcasing his love for storytelling and fantasy. Despite his busy work schedule, Ben always finds time to pursue his passions and connect with those around him.

Maria Cisneros

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Maria Cisneros is an experienced administrative assistant currently excelling in her role. Before joining the team, Maria ventured into entrepreneurship and owned her own successful landscape company from 2008 to 2020 and still holds her LCB license.  Maria’s dedication to family is evident as she is a proud mother of four children and enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren. Outside of work and family, Maria finds joy in various hobbies, such as hiking and cooking. Her adventurous spirit leads her to seek solace near any body of water. In her free time, you might be surprised to learn that Maria has a soft spot for exotic parrots and used to foster them through a local rescue. Her love for nature and compassion for animals truly shines through in all aspects of her life.

Max Brudnicki

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Max Brudnicki is the Commercial Account Manager for GT landscape solutions. He attended BYU and Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Max loves coaching high school football and loves sports. Before joining GT Max worked in landscaping as a Crew Foreman gaining knowledge and understanding of the trade. When Max isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Courtney, and 2 little girls. Max has lived all over the US including Oregon, Utah, Texas, Idaho, and Wisconsin.

Carla Schultheis

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Carla Schultheis joined the GT team as our Accounts Payable Specialist, with a combined 30 years of administrative and accounting experience. She’s dedicated 30 years in Administrative Support, 20 years as an Accounting Technician, and 7 years as a Healthcare Business Office Manager. She is happily married to her husband, Hans, of 30 years. They enjoy spending time with their Lab/Pitbull mix dog named Blu. She enjoys landscaping, volunteering, fishing and has an overall love of animals. One thing most people don’t know about Carla is that she has a fascination with cars and Formula One!
